We have completed St. John Ambulance's in-class version of their Pet First Aid course.

Topics of our training include:

• Bites (from other animals)

• Vaccinations 

Our vehicle is stocked with first-aid necessities, and is ready to function as an emergency aid station. We always carry a first-aid kit during our walks.

In the unlikely event that there is a life threatening emergency, we will transport the affected dog straight to the nearest emergency veterinarian, and will do everything in our power to make sure they are alright.

We have a comprehensive and industry specific Commercial Liability Insurance policy.

We have our Commercial Dog Walker's License, as required by the city of Toronto.

We have always prefered to drive like a firm but careful grandmother. We have zero infractions on our driving record and have never been in an accident. We've actually never been pulled over!

Our back seat and trunk area has been outfitted with a non-slip transport platform, more than doubling the sitting area of the seats. This platform is enclosed by a supportive mesh barrier. The dogs are each provided their own high-quality, wide-panel harness. These are tied to the car with a durable and shock absorbing tether. 

To start, we drive a well maintained 2015 Subaru Forester, which has about equal trunk and back seat space. 4 medium dogs fit very comfortably for short drives. We have outfitted it with:

• Non-slip platform to extend the back seats forward.
• Non-slip trunk area.
• Shock absorbing tethers.
• Padded wide-panel harnesses.
• Cabin & dash cam.
• First Aid equipment & travel kits.
• Tick kits.
• Towels.
• Drinking water reservoir.
• Handpump pressured water tank and hose.
